IKS x WWN Historical Kriegsspiel Event

Join the Women’s Wargaming Network (WWN) and the International Kriegsspiel Society (IKS) for a unique opportunity to experience the roots of modern wargaming. On June 21 at 11 AM EST / 5 PM CEST, we’re hosting a 4-hour live session of Kriegsspiel, the 200-year-old Prussian staff wargame that continues to influence military training today. No prior experience required – this session is open to participants of any level.

In this real-time game inspired by a historical battle, you’ll step into the shoes of a commanding officer and navigate the fog of war using only limited information, maps, and your own judgment. You’ll be supported by a facilitator and guided throughout.
