WWN Book Club

We’re excited to announce the launch of the Women’s Wargaming Network Book Club!

At its core, the WWN Book Club is about building a supportive and reflective community of women (and allies!) who care about how we engage with games, power, conflict, and one another. Our first book is Politics of Play: Wargaming with the US Military by Aggie Hirst. 

The club will meet bi-monthly, alternating between book discussions and a conversation series with guest wargamers. Our first book session will take place toward the end of June (date TBD, most likely the last sunday of the month) and will include guided facilitation and open discussion. You don’t have to have finished the entire book, but we encourage reading as much as you can!

This book club is open to all, whether you’re new to wargaming or deeply embedded in the field.
